Should I be expecting to see any major maintenance coming up for my 40K on the clock, or should everything pretty much be business as usual for this Honda at this mileage? Just had the oil changed when she turned 40K....

Did you do any of the 30k maint? I dunno whats on it offhand, but if you havent, you could just do what you didnt. Then when you approach 60k, then i think theres some more stuff. I would think that cleaning the air filter would be on 30k, spark plugs...but im not sure.

Thanks Aero...I did do much of the 30K services, throughout the 30 to 40K span; tires roated, fluids looked at, etc...brakes resurfaced...spark plugs on these newer Accords are good for 100K I was told, no?

When my parents owned this car, they didnt do any maintenance, no oil changes, spark plug changes, air filter, NADA!!! Oh, except they did change the timing belt, but that was only after it popped and the car wouldnt move I got it when it had 130k about 2 years ago, and the only major probs I've had is oil leaking everywhere and I had to get a new radiator, and its probably about time for another timing belt. I now keep up with all maintenance, but baby is running better and better the older she gets

92 DX. 180K. I have done the radiator, timing belt, distributor. Everything else, regular maintenance. Still on the original clutch!
