Wow so 3 inch is too big? What pip size did you resize to? Should I Just get maybe 2.75?

well i guess depending on the rear section and setup. for me i went from 3" to 2.5" and its a huge difference. the rear section helped somewhat but having the correct piping is what got me going again. now u gotta remember to large a piping is negative on ur car cuz u gonna have exhaust lag vs. restriction.. the right ratio is what ur looking for. if u arent going F/I get the 2.5 and u'l be fine

dude.. 2.5! And I wouldn't leave the resonator on, because I like HP. It won't be too loud.

It wont be too loud? I like HP as well, but I care more about not grabbing the cops attention, thats why I want the sound level down some. How much HP would I gain if I took the res off (for the exhaust ofcourse)?

Meh, maybe 1-2... truthfully exhaust doesn't give you that much HP anyways... if you really care about loudness then keep the res., it makes a huge diff.

I didn't do anything about the res but the cat. converter does make a huge diff when taken off

Got to thinkin, if my stock piping is 2.5 then gettin custom catback thats 2.5 wouldnt make a difference right? So maybe I should just stick w/ gettin the 5zigen axelback then?

Your stock piping is 2.5? I wasn't aware of that... if so, just install the axleback and leave your piping as is... It wont make a difference... but be sure on that piping size.
