I'm thinking about getting a 4 cylinder Accord Coupe 98+.

The reason for the 4 cylinder is teh 5 speed and gas mileage compared to a V6.

Is there much performance upgrades for the 4 cylinder? The V6 seems to be more popular.

Are there any Turbo systems or SC for the 4 cylinder?

Are there any 4 cylinder specific websites? I saw that there was a V6 specific one.

u could get f-max turbo.

 

there is more 4cyl aftermarket support... the 6cyl parts will be more expensive also

 

i love my 4 cyl 5speed accord. There are quite many aftermarket support for the car. all bolt-on mods, basically all suspension upgrades, Many exterior mods, and even a very reliable and productive turbo from FMAX. It has a lot of R&D that was done to it, so unlike a custom turbo, you know its gonna work and be reliable. Gude also has engine upgrades, such as Camshaft, throttle body, port and polishing, etc. I think it has a lot of potential for a damn family car.

imo, 4cyl is definitely better because availability of 5spd manual and aftermarket support...but i sure wish i had that fat torque of a v6...
