That's what I did, waited until I could get a good alarm. I went the cheap route last time($300 installed for a Viper 300ESP) and got my baby stolen and raped:angry: I had over 5G's invested in modding it and it was gone in 30 seconds. Now, im not worried about anyone stealing my car cause if they can get it now, they deserve it. I know a tow truck is all it takes to take any car, no alarm can stop that.

I don't remember well, but that look pretty close, btw, it's a complete system but 700-900 is quite exepensive. my max would just be 400 out of my pocket
you might be able to get a Clifford Concept 200 for that, check around. Just make sure to stay away from the "mass marketed" systems like the Matrix line. The RS3 has some cool features, but as for security is concerned, it just isn't up to par IMO.

I have an Audiovox aps-996 I think or either 995, one of the two. Has worked well for me so far, but I've only had it for 2 months.... Paid $160 for it and installed it myself.

from the sounds of it, you are under the impression that cliffords remote start isn't compatible w/manual tranny vehicles. You must not have known about Clifford's IntelliStart that is optional on their alarms, matter of fact, it comes standard on the RS3, the AG4 and the Solaris

no, that's not the reason, good try though. i would have went with clifford, but they didn't have the 2 way pager option, so, you know, i woudn't know if someone was tampering with my ride. one time, my compustar went off at 2 o'clock in the morning and i was still kickin it with the boys and lets just say the brotha got an ass beating of a lifetime by 9 asian boys.

ahahaha, opened up a can huh? I may be wrong, but the only Clifford alarm that has the 2 way remote is the RS3
