Default 6gen: German spec mods

I just had a couple of mods installed: headlight washers, sidemarkers and H&R wheel spacers. The washers and sidemarkers are for a German spec 6gen accord - got them sent to me by a dealership in Germany.

You can buy this from Honda dealers in Europe… they sold the 6gen 2 door over there and safety regulations in some countries require the headlamp washers.
I got the kit sent to me by relatives and I guess you guys could get it from a dealer in the UK or elsewhere (look at www.honda.co.uk for dealers to call). It includes a separate pump for the washers since they only activate when the lights are on – not during the day. I had my mechanic install this but I know that it required two new openings in the reservoir, new fluid lines were run along the inside of the bumper, the pump installs near the underside of the reservoir. There are four nozzles which do a really good job of cleaning the projector areas of the lights. I paid $150 (incl mail) for this + install fee.
I can’t wait for winter to really try these out… ahhhh I think I will enjoy the summer first.

I uploaded some pics of the euro 6gen Accord to my cardomain page. Have a look at these

if all those do is squirt fluid on the lights, and not actually wipe them like volvos/mb etc... i dont see how they really do anything. You need to take pics up close... those pics are way too far and small....

neat gadgets though... practicality.....

It really works... most cars in Europe use this system - no mini-wipers, just squirt fluid. My 92 Passat had this setup too. It worked fine.
I have not used the Accord setup in the snow, but will try it in the winter.
