Anyone know any place to get DIN storage bins? I need a deeper one than the stock, so it can fit CDs/CD player in there... One with a door would be nice.

 

best buy has DIN Storage Bins in the car audio section don't they?

 

i got this cool pocket din with a lid at the dealer for $15 ...



it's better than any sort of kit you can buy at bestbuy, circuit city, or walmart.

Chek out the 6th gen one. Thats what it looks like Eklypse39
has. Comes on the lx models, should be pretty cheap. And its a redular Din size pocket, so it should fit fine, you may need to get the bracket though.

 

6g lx din pocket is to shallow to fit cds in it and close. there is a 1st gen CL din pocket that should fit 5g accords perfectly. you could try using a 6g din pocket....

 

the 1st gen cl pocket is also too shallow for CD's... thats the one I have. I just put pens and other "things" in there, hehe, I even wired an electromagnet lock that locks the lid from a switch, so if my car gets searched I can place things in there I dont want cops to see.

Your best bet is to use an open pocket and let the cd's hang out a little... all the pockets you'll find wont be deep enough because they wont fit due to the placement of the radio bracket.

 

eklypse: yeah that's the on i already have, it came standard on my LX. It's not deep enough for CDs/CD players unfortunately..
