While im at 75-80 mph and then step on the gas to go a bit faster... i hear a slight rattle which seems to be coming from the dash / hood. is this normal? brand new... 1500 miles.

this only happens at high speeds.

 

if it bothers you.... take it back to the dealer.

 

It can probably be silenced through inserting a rubber pad somewhere in the dash to quell the noise.

 

I get some noises here and there too with mine...sucks when you have to push on this and hit that to get it to stop. Maybe if we all drive into a huge pothole or go 40mph over a speed bump they will all settle out :P

 

Squeaks and rattles suck. I have had a constant one in my 6th gen Accord that's on the driver's side B-Pillar that I CANNOT for the life of me find. I've taken the plastic panelling off, disassembled the seatbelt anchor, but have yet to quell it.
