it's a 1967 275 GTB-4. depending on which source you check, there are between 200-500 of these ever made.

and, no, with 120k, you can't get one

got the car when it was two year old, it was cheap then, way cheap, but it has gone up in value since. and being that old, it does need a lot of work. everything is being redone.

just got the heads back from AZ (two weeks ago) cams from Italy (two month ago) put roller bearing on... er, the part that the cams touch when it rolls around (definately horse power gain there)

just in case you are wondering, the pics that you see are a few years old. they were taken after many coats of FF (5 or 6 coats, took a whole week). i don't know if FF is sitll popular here since i've been away from this board for a long time, but it is recommanded (as far as synthetic polymer) by the ferrari club of northern america. it's good sh!t i just ordered two cans (anticipating getting my car back in a couple of weeks and for my other cars).

Welcome back.

Wow I really misjudged your age, no big deal.

FF is still a nice way to go around these parts although admittedly I have been messing with Klasse...with somewhat mixed results.

$60K is big hurt in my books, but from the pics of the car, its gotta be worth it. I love Ferraris, but at present believe they should either be driven at ridiculous speeds on the track or showcased in concours condition. They just shouldn't be wasted on plebian tasks as sitting in traffic (that's what porsches are for!)
Its also interesting to look at your engine bay. Recent Ferraris seem to put a lot of emphasis on showcasing the motor as a piece of artwork (often under glass) compared to the older ones.

Good work. See you around.

I've done a lot of waxin... results are all pretty much similiar. it's just that FF lasts a lot longer and is very easy to work with (imagine putting 1 coat on two or three cars each day for 3 or 4 days).

oh the engine bay...you will notice that there are some different color spark plug wires. some of those are replaced at tracks which is why they are different color. at this point, each ding on the body is gonna depreciate the car around 3 to 4k, so i guess it's not gonna be driven a lot (or at all)
