Default Question for the '03 Accord'ers

Does anyone else have airflow come out of their vents at times when your climate control system is completely off, especially when your moonroof is tilted open or maybe if its just hot/stuffy in the car? The airflow I am getting is almost like having the fan speed on the 2nd or 3rd speed.

Was this an intended "feature?" If so, is it pulling the air in or is the fan being signaled to turn on?

The manual also doesn't explain anything about the sunlight sensor and what it does....could this have anything to do with it?

Air comes from the outside. No fan. If you don't like it just press recirculate button. It is an intended "feature" that every car has.

I dont have anything on, not even the fan, and air is flowing in like I have the fan on medium speed. So like when its cold out and I don't want anything on I have to deal with air freely coming inside?

Doesn't happen with any of the 4 other cars my family has...

is your control on Fresh Air like everyone else has said? If you have it on Fresh, not recirculate, air will always freely come in on its own... unless you push recirculate..... even if you have the fan off. Any car does this.....

Ok, i will try that next time I take it out. I figured that when all lights and systems are off, everything closes. So I guess in order to have everything shut, that button light would have to remain on....hmm...

I thought with all cars, the vents shut when off, at least thats what I used to hear when I shut everything.

Thanks for the replies!
