Default Accord Navagation System Question

For those of you with the Honda Navagation System I have a quick question.

When using the Trip Computer off of the Info menu it seems that the mileage on the trip computer there varies from trip counter on the Odometer.

Has any else noticed this problem?

Thanks

Prospero

Did you reset them both at the same time? Just filled up my tank and forgot to reset both, so the Trip A meter on the dash is about 1.2 miles behind, but it hasn't varied from there.

I did reset them both at the same time.

Plus the difference between them seems to be growing as well.

Wierd... I'll have to watch mine closer, but I think it has been pretty consistent.

I have had this problem....consistently. I have the info set to reset with refuel automatically, and as a matter of habbit from previous cars, I reset the trip meter every time. After about 400 miles I find that there is maybe a 10-20mile discrepancy between the trip meter and the nav information. (NAV is always lower than the trip). I don't see it as the biggest of deals. As you know by now, the NAV doesn't always have a 100% read on you. In other words, often times when I am starting out on a trip, I will be "off road" for maybe 50-100 feet. So just chalk up the discrepancy to things like tunnels and such where it loses contact.

I find it hard to belive that the trip computer on the touch screen is using GPS data to compute distance.

If that is the case that is a poor design decision.

Here is hoping there is software update to fix this bug
