actually, i jsut installed the Illuminas and the Skunk2 coilvers last weekend. that shit is tight! i hdidnt have to adjust anything afterwards. i dropped it about 1.75" in front and 1.5" in the rear. its not slammed, but it wont handle if it is slammed under 2", so **** it. i want performance, not looks. my camber is fine, and my ailgnment is fine, straighter than my steel wheels in fact.

Go with ground control coilovers and tokico illumina shocks. That's what i put on my 2000 accord ex 4dr. No bouncing at all. Dont use tokico blues if you plan on dropping your car more than inches...blues suck a whole lotta ass. I got mine dropped about 2.5 inches and the illuminas are set on 3...they ride great. i can take curbs, train tracks, bumps, and potholes with no problems. They feel like stock, im just sitting lower....cost me about 1300 with parts and installation..but it was worth it

Jeebus!!!!...1300 for Illumina and GC's????? How much did they charge you for labor????

That's alot...did you pay full MSRP or something? GC's are about 300-325 and illuminas are 375-400, so even on the high side with a $200 camber kit you are only at about 950....

You could have bought Tein SS or Apexi WS full body coilovers for that much... hell you could have bought Tanabe, Progress or higher end Teins for that much...

if you dont get adjustable shocks or at least performance shocks, u're gonna hate coilovers. The ride sucks a whole lotta ass. I had planned to get the coilovers and then get the shocks later on, after 2 days i ordered the shocks. And yeah, labor was a bitch. 145 to install the coilovers, 300 to install the shocks. The GC's were 320, 350 with shipping...the shocks were 219 for front, 219 for back, close to 500 after shipping and everything...yeah i realize now i shoulda just went with a full coilover setup, but i love the ride and the look so im happy. And where can i get a 200 camber kit? the cheapest i've seen is like 199 for the front, then 170 for the rear...and i need the lower arm mounts, if i get uppers and put the tire out it'll just make it rub so i need to pull the bottom in to make it fit right. and when i get my 18's i dont want them sticking out pass the fender

whoa.... you paid that much to have ur coilovers and shocks installed.... why didn't you just do it urself?!?!?! i just bought my KYB AGX gas shocks all 4 for 300, and i had them installed on my car in about 1 hr. it's really not that hard to do man... just do some research and you'll find it's real easy. anyways, camber kit, i got mine off of ebay, i know it sounds kinda cheesy, but it works like a charm, i got it for about 120 with shipping and everything. and the rear for about $10 yes ten dollars, i mean all you're gonna be getting is washers and bolts, unless you order something amazing...... and if you need help installing them i can send some FAQs to you about how to do it with pics and stuff, i hate to hear you paid that much, i feel sorry for ya. and about the 18's, if you don't want them to stick out pass the fender, just make sure you get the right displacement, i think what i have is 42 and mine look awsome, just do some research, tell me if you need help and i'll do what i can. peace:thumbup:  :naughty:
