Hehe it's not the V2... I was just messin with ya... it's the original.

I am using zip ties to attatch the mesh, and if necessary a few dots of Liquid Nails.

seems like there's no better way to attach the mesh, if you don't want to jam it between the front and back pieces of the grille. i'm going to get to my grille eventually, and i want to put up a mesh behind it. what i'm most worried about is the paint coming out not smooth and shiny and glossy

U mean of the mesh or the grill? And if you jammed it in there, it would be too close to the front IMO.

looks good. we did one for a buddies 2-door & attached it w/ a little fiberglass. i'd like one for mine, but it's a 6th gen 4-door & it's all one piece w/ the air dam
