Default 6gen H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers

Has anyone used the H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers? These supposedly allow for higher lateral forces in cornering due to the widel track... therefore a lower center of gravity.

Depends on what type of application you want to use them in.

Is it for everyday driving, autocross?

What size wheels are you considering using them with?

I have H&R sports and stock rims/tires. This is for everyday street driving.
I want to do this because the rear wheels look as if they are set back within the body too much. I want the rears to protrude a little more.
Do you know whether doing this to the rear only is ok? I think the front looks fine.

You could do it, but there isn't much point. Your money would better be invested in some wheels and tires that give you the width and offset you like. If you are moving tire to the outside for a wider track, you might has well have wider rubber for the inside as well, not just the outside (if that makes any sense).

The main things to worry about with the spacers if you decide to use them are:

Make sure the lugnuts can still engage enough of the stud threads to securely hold the wheel on. I've heard 7 revolutions of the lug is the bare minimum.

With stock wheels you'll probably be okay in the rear, but you want to make sure that the spacer doesn't push the wheel out far enough to rub with the fender.

Hope that helps a little. Like I said though...for everday driving, just get some 7-7.5" wide whees in a larger diamter. It's much more money, but looks and peforms better.
