h&r oe sport springs
I am thinking about buying a set of h&r oe sport springs. I want to lower my 2000 Accord EXV6 coupe to get rid of some of the wheel gap, but do not want to drop it that much. That is why I am thinking of getting the oe sport which only drops it .75 front/.5 rear. Does anyone have the oe sport on stock shocks? Any Opinions? Comments? Pictures? Thanks in advance.
Personally I had some bad experanices with H&R springs. I know they are supposed to be Top quality stuff but I (and my customers) where dissappointed with there performance.
I've lowered a 1997 Accord V6, 2000 CLK 430, and 2001 CLK 55 AMG, with H&R and all of them drove poorly. They all exibited more body roll then was expected from a "high perfromance" spring. I replaced the Accords with S/T's and both MB's with Eibach's and the car's drove much better. There was a deffinate improvement.
I would get some more testimonials from owners before spending your money. Personally I'd go with Eibach. S/T is also very good and from what I've heard they are owned by Eibach and share all their R&D. From what I understand S/T is a balence between the Eibach Pro-Kit and Sport Line and also reasonably priced.
My car is on Koni yellows with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and S/T sway bar kit. The car handles very well, Not to low and personally I would like to be lower but then that would degrade my performance and I am very happy with that. When parked next to a stock Accord the difference is obvious but on it's own it's harder to tell.
Good Luck with your choice.

I'd go for the H&R Sport springs. Like dantastic said...the OE won't really reduce your gap. I have the Sports, I would recommend them.

Oh, I love my H&R Sport (with Koni Yellows). I can't be any happier (well, other than I need new tires).
I have eibach prokit on my accord and id recommend it. 1.5 inch drop, which means its noticeable that u have a drop, but its not slammed to the floor at all. You get very very good ride quality and good agressive stance.

Thanks for everyone's advice.
Oh brother... I ordered H&R OE sports spring from Autodynamic for my 93 Accord .. I really wanted H&R sports spring but road condition in Seoul, Korea.. is bad.. Too many manholes in stupid road..
I think the OE sports are decent if you don't want a large drop. Who cares if people don't notice the drop? I'd rather be a little high up than be mistaken for some riceboy is a slammed car......just my opinion.
