Ok i'm probably an idiot for this but i just installed my new intake and it has 2 holes rather than 1 for the little tube... i just plugged the second with electrical tape for the time being but what is it for did i f-up my install somewhere? the old one appeared to only have 1 hole out.. so maybe its not me?

anyone have a better plugging idea or better yet a better place to use hose #2?

 

ive wondered also.....i used one of those plastic cap thingy's that...i dont know what there called im at school right now but ill take a picture when i get home so u can see what im talking about....i would search the net for a picture of them but i have no idea where to start

 

my aem sri for my civic had 2 extra holes. my accord aem cai only had one hole for the engine breather

 

I didn't have any extra holes on the intake. Where are the holes that you are talking about?

 

Hmm.. is the ex intake different from the lx/dx? I know in a friends civic theres a hole for an o2 sensor and a hole for the hose that goes to the head

that idiot sent me one for an EX i guess.. sometimes they are different i spefically said LX ONLY. damn idiots!

Use a cap to cover it. You can find a little rubber cap at a hardware store or auto parts store to go over it.
