Default Help selecting my intake

Ok, I'm gonna go with some advice i got on this board and go with an AEM intake system for my 94 Accord LX. The question is, what is the difference between the Cold Air Induction System and the Short Ram Induction System.

the cold air will take air from outside the engine ....the short ram is just taking the hot air from the engine and pullin it in.......if u ask me the cold air is alot better and it looks alot better under the hood

is the cold air more difficult to install? and do the chances of pulling in moisture increase?

short ram-filter is under the hood in the engine bay=hot air intake
cold air intake-filter is located outside the engine bay thus taking in cooler, denser air from outside=more power

and is the AEM filter that comes with the intake better than a K&N? also, can it be replaced with a K&N when it gets all nasty?

when you remove the stock intake, you will see that they already have a semi cold air intake setup, you just remove the stock plumbing and run the CAI through that hole, its not too hard, just time consuming if anything. Id say it should take a newbie about 30-45 minutes to do it.

I haven't found a filter that's better than K & N, they are the best as far as im concerned. Yeah, K & N makes cone filter that will fit.

ok, so 30-45 mins for me to do it, because i am DEFINITELY that newbie. I've never done anything remotely like this, and never on anything on an accord (I owned a acura legend last). This is the reason for all my posts here. What are the chances I could screw things up very badly when i do this, and how difficult is it to remove the lower half of the airbox if i choose to go with the CAI instead of the short ram.
