All this talk about H22 Engines, which I dont even know about but sounds enticing, is great. I was reading someones post and saw that they had a 91 Accord LX with 14K Miles because of an H22 Engine swap and my jaw dropped, I myself have a 90 Accord LX Coupe with 205K Miles, but it runs like a champ, no engine problems at all, but I was thinking, once I have it customized to what I want it to look like, what if the thing just dies on me because of that 205K Miles? So I was considering doing a Engine Swap but I dont know how or how much this is going to run me. If anyone can throw me ballpark figures on how much its going to cost me to drop a new engine in there to really make this a car Im going to stick with for awhile, I'd appreciate it. No instructions on how to install it are needed...........yet Thanks in advance for all your help guys, your posts have helped me realize that I love my Honda even more because of the possibilites.

 

This forum is making me spend (lots) money too! I think its worth it, though, since my Accord is a 2002 with 16K on it. I'm just trying to control myself so that it gets to reach 205K like yours.

i think about $2500-3500 for the complete swap. it all depends on where you buy the engine, which version of the H22 you get, and if you have someone install it for you.
