I got an Extra B pipe, Gut Cat?
hey i got an extra B pipe and need some opinions. Should i Gut the catalitic converter?
right now for "performance" i have a k&n filter, cut bottom off airbox, removed airbox resonator, and a universal Apexi N1 muffler welded on from axel back.
it sounds nice, low, and quiet at low speeds and sounds kinda midrange/throughty (sp?) at higher speeds.
how will it sound with a gutted catalitic converter?

The only benefit you might get is from a performance cat, which simply heats up faster, but that helps the environment more than you.
