Hi i just took off my pinestipes last weekend, They just peel of atleast on my 6gen. Just make sure you wash your car and use some type of paint cleaner and then a wax or polish. I wise I had pics but it's very easy.

^what he said...if it a little difficult to peel it off, use a heat gun or blowdryer to soften up the sticker

^^^

As stated above, I just used a blow-dryer & fishing line... washed the car, used goof-off/goo gone on the left-over sticky & it was done... I plan on removing the "Civic CX" sticker off the tailgate this week as well using the same method. The stripes took about 5 minutes per side to get off, and about 45 minutes total to get all the sticky off of it. Count on 1-2 hours of work to do a REALLY nice job so you can't even pretend to see sticky residue...
