Default Nav: Updating software now blank

Hello, today when I started up my '05 Accord EX V6 w/ Nav instead of the normal screen I'm used to seeing, a green font with a progress bar appeared and said, "Do not turn engine off. Downloading new software." Then the screen appeared to reset a few times and now the entire nav screen is blank.

I stopped by the dealership and they did not know what the issue is and said I'll need to drop off the car during the week for a tech to look at.

Any ideas?

Found this on another forum:

http://www.superhonda.com/forum/f13/...system-325461/

Unfortunately, it appears no one has found a fix. Will be very disappointed if this is how Honda handles this as we are weeks away from buying a new Odyssey. I will be shocked if Honda handles this like everyone on this other post is claiming.

Anyhow, wanted to post on here to see if anyone has any idea how to resolve.

I wouldn't bother dropping it off at the dealer. All they'll do is scratch their heads for a few hours and give you a quote for a new unit. I would just ship that shit off to Alpine.
