Default can 17inch rota subzeros hold up?

i'm thinking of getting 17 inch rota subzeros in steel gray. i know these are very good wheels for the money, but due to their light weight i'm concerned as to how they'll handle daily driving on new england roads. the roads rather sucksaround here and the nice thing about my stockers is that i can drive and not have too worry about bumps as much.

Can you rephase your question? I was just confused on what you mean by bumps. Do you mean their durability and strength due to bumps and how they possibly might bend or dent? If thats the question, weight has nothing to do with tensile/compressive strength, yeild strength, etc. Some materials that are light are much stronger than heavier ones i.e. titanium. If you want to know strengths, go to matweb.com and click on material properties. From there you will know its strength and compare them to the material of the rims you have now. Hope that helps. =)

basically i just want to know if they bend easily from rough roads since i'll be running 45 series rubber.

my friend has OZ superleggeras in 18s with 40 series and they hold up well, but were talking rims that cost $325 a piece and are forged. rotas are nowhere near the cost since they are not forged yet still are light which means the metal is not going to be as strong.
