I was just looking at the Australian Honda corp site and it seems that they currently sell the US built 6gen 4 door (identical to 2002) over there. A few interesting differences though: clear headlights, sidemarker indicators, interesting foglights with in bumper mountings, and most of all a 185hp 4cyl model... all OEM! I'm sure its possible to order parts from a dealer???

 

LOVE the chrome 98-00 look grill and the clear turn signals. Looks a lot better than ours.

But it looks like the Aussies haven't gotten the '03 Accords yet. It sounds like they're running clearence sales on the 6th gens.

 

I got the following email from a dealership in Australia regarding ordering parts from them:

"Our sales department forwarded an email from you regarding accord headlights
and repeater lamps

The headlights are $360.00 each side in Australian dollars
The repeater lamps( which are orange) are $65.45 each in Australian dollars.

as far as exporting, we don't do any of this type of sale so we have no experience in sending parts o/seas we do not have any idea re freight costs at this time.

I does seem a little odd that Honda America can't get for you, unless your Accords have yellow park lamps in the headlights.
The Australian ones are clear on the outside but have an amber globe which gives the lamp an orange tint to it.

The Australian part numbers are 33101S84Q02 r/h headlight - 33151S84Q02 l/h
headlight - 33800SV4Q01 repeater lamps.
Maybe the honda parts department at your dealer could ask Honda America to get them for you.

The numbers are Australian and may not suit your vehicle, if you are
changing from standard you should enlist the help
of your Honda dealer to facilitate this.

PS: Our lamps in Australia dip to the left ( which
means when you we go to low beam the shine to the left of the road) because we drive on the l/h side of the road, you, I assume, drive on the r/h side
of the road, and cosequently your lights dip to the right.

hmmmm i wonder if i could email honda japan about some parts for my 5th gen.... just small things like side markers and then the door garnishs just small things ooo and maybe the bumper lights (clear w/ amber reflector thing in them)....i havent seen the ADM accord for the 5th gen? if anyone has a picture that would be cool casue i think if i email honda-japan i wont be able to read there email...unless they have someone who speaks english...worth a try though....

 

You may be able to email a dealer in Hong Kong... they are more likely to speak English there.
