Default What Cleans Air For Heating/AC?

I have noticed very small peices of dirt, etc. on my dash board after using the defrost. I think the filter could be dirty or bad or something... but is it the same filter that is used for the engine. I know I deserve to be slapped for this one, I've just never even had to think about it or cared.

Thanks,
John

Default Filters

Sorry bucko, but they didn't start putting the cabin filters in to Accords until '98 (6G). Your problem is dirt in the blower cage, which would have to be removed to clean out. Takes a few hours to do...

Default The air

Fresh air comes in through the cowl vents (the black plastic area between the hood and the windshield) and if there is any dirt up there then it get sucked right in. Also it can accumulate over time.

i wonder how hard it would be to take apart the entire dash, and take out all the vent tubing and clean it all really good.... may be a summer project. :naughty:

Haha prolly not that hard. I mean getting the guages out is easy... but I'm not sure about the rest of the upper dash...
