Default bobbing head thingies

Hey,
On my dash, I have one of those bobbing head things, dunno how to describe, i'll post a pic soon. I plan on selling the car and would like to remove it......how should i do so without leaving marks on the dash?
i was thinking to do this: heat up w/ blowdryer, remove bobbing head thing, use some solution (ie: goo-gone) to remove any residue left by the bobbing head thing.

will this work? please give some suggestions
thanks

sounds like you already have it figured out. make sure to apply some dash protectant after doing it though.

Yes that will work... just make sure to wipe all of the goo-gone, etc. off the dash with a wet rag afterwards... then use some armorall if you want to.

there might be one problem which is fading. Thats what happened to my parents car, the thing protected to area from discoloration and the rest of the dash faded. Might not be as bad for yours.
