Default 98 Accord Engine Build or Swap

Ok here's the skinny on what I got:

1998 4-door Accord LX with GReddy cat-back & AEM COI w/ bypass-valve.

I am looking into adding the FMax turbo & a NOS fogger system.

I am wondering if I should just build the F23 in mine (goto forged pistons & rods @ about 8.5-9.0 compression) to take the added power or should I do a swap to a H22 & add the tubo & Nos to it?

I also don't know all these engine codes yet, so if somebody could educate me a little on the following make/model of some, I would appreciate it very much.

H22 - ???

F20 - ???

What are the strengths/weakness of these engines over the on I have in my car now? All I know is what a pain in the arse it is to find aftermarket stuff for the F23.

which of the 3 would you recommend to do the turbo & nos too? Keep what I got & build it or swap it out? I want to get the best bang for my buck but wanna keep reliability.

Also, who would I go about getting motor mounts from?

First of all how much money are you willing to spend?
Ask yourself this question...Can I afford to break this car?
Another thing..Why a 4door? If your gonna race any Accord go to at least a 2 door. Not sure how much the 4 doors weigh but I know the 2 door is, at full trim on or around 3000 lbs..Plus it won't look like you inheirted your grandmother's car and tring to race it. (no offense..) Oh and please lets not put stickers all over it either...Give it a nice suspension, slap some 18's on it and keep it clean.

Nice advice there buddy

I roll an all motor 5th gen Accord and am looking at breaking into the 13s this year. Yeah I realize its a bit lighter than the 6th gen but it can be done just the same depends on how much you wanna throw at the car.

Grow up and quit calling the Accord "grandmothers car" since the coupe is the exact same car regardless of how you wanna look at it, only difference is it has 2 doors on it instead of 4.

I think the 4-doors look better anyways and they seem more efficent. 2 doors are too small not saying I wouldent take it. But I enjoy 4-door over 2...

I plan to drop around $6k on motor work including turbo & nos, so I'll probably just build the motor in it already. I'll just make it ROCK SOLID!!!

I've already done an eibach pro kit (1.5" kit) & put 17" motegi mr-7s on it, so it doesn't look like a "grandmothers" car (I went 17's instead of 18's cause I drive about 100 miles a day round trip & can't afford to do tires every 9-12 months).

I have also done the Greddy cat-back & I'm planning on adding the dual-option like the v6. Also in the works is the Xenon body kit (which looks great on the 4door).

I like the looks of the 4door because it doesn't look too sporty so I can surprise people when I chap-at-ass!! It also doesn't look too sporty that the cops notice it - I passed one this evening on the interstate doing 90 & he didn't give me a second glance.

Here is a rough page with a few shots of the beginnings. Since the pics, I've removed the pinstriping & added altezza black chrome tailights & dual-prjector headlights (yeah EBAY!!!). Let me know whatca think so far.
