Improve Brakes on accord V6 1999
Hello all,
The brakes on my accord V6 1999 have never been sharp, I have changed rotors and pads to Hawk HPS and slotted rotors, I have replaced all the calipers and master cylinder and also the booster, I also replaced the ABS. I also followed the procedure for adjusting the rear calipers with the E-brake. I bleed the brakes as well.
So when the engine is off, The pedal is very stiff.
I still can not get the brakes to be sharp, and I am wondering if any of you had this issue and what didi they do about it?
I could adjust the brake booster screw about a 1/4 to a 1/2 turn but I am affraid it would cause a lock up or a premature wear on the pads/rotors.
I dorve an MDX today and the brakes are sharp, I could not believe it how sharp they were, a slight press and I am almost in the windshield. This is how I want my brakes to be.
Thanks

if you bleed it properly (no air in system), well thats all your brakes can be. if you want it to stop faster, then maybe consider doing a big brake rotor kit upgrade not sure if aem makes one for your vehicle.
