Yes... but the higher wattage makes up for it am I right? I've used showoff's and they at least seamed brighter. Either way they look good.

the higer wattage makes them seem brighter, but the light isnt as useful. the blue tinted light doesnt reflect off of surfaces as well, esp when its wet out

Yeh I knew that non-usable light part. And yes I know they suck in the rain haha. Anyways I say Silverstars!

PIAA's or Silverstars. OEM bulbs suck for light output...and I agree, I hate the look of fake HID's...just gimme something really white.

Aren't Silverstars' slogan claimed to be "upgrade to HID?" And PIAA also claims "close to the color of HID."

So why aren't Silverstars/PIAAs also considered fake HIDs?

They arent fake hid's.. they aren't fake anything lol... just halogen bulbs with a small amount of extra gas in them.

Does it really even matter? lol.
