Does the filament (sp?) affect the color of the bulb at all? Or just the glass color... im assuming the latter.

So let me get this straight....

You have clear corners in your car........and are trying to give the deep amber glow like the JDM corners would......if you had the JDM corners.

Is this the correct assumption? Because I always thought the JDM corners had the amber reflector in them and to buy the "JDM" corners without the amber in them makes it a product I can get for $12 all day long and then buy amber bulbs and still come out cheaper than the "JDM" ones that are being shown.

Because if this is correct then the only thing I see is high dollar rice and not JDM.

Not flaming but I am curious if this is correct.

I saw your post in the Basement. Those are something whack. REAL JDM ACCORD's come with what I have, but mine are DEPO, just a cheap brand... but they look the exact same. Real JDM ACCORD's don't have amber in the corners because they have sidemarkers.

BTW, we are talking about bulbs for my bumper lights, not my corners... those are set .

And just in case you are wondering. Real JDM bumper lights are clear too... like mine... but they have a small square peice of amber plastic in them close to where the bulb is, in the very center.

The color of the glass affects the color. The filament and the wattage is the same. The gas inside maybe different. But there is no proof that the Polarg has any addition gas. So that is why I've stopped buying Polarg and gone with generic. Until it is proven Polarg is brighter and has different gas inside I'll stick with generic.

I've had Polarg as all lights before. But I went back to all OEM type bulbs except for the interior which are still Polargs hyperwhite.

Output here doesn't even matter to me... only on headlights do I care about that. Color is it. Do you have any pics of your Polargs in action?

Nope. To most people amber is amber. If you get Polarg stick with Polargs to have the same hue of amber.

ur car takes 1156 bulbs for the bumpers? I have to hunt downt the fawking 7440 bulbs for mine The hard ones for me to find were the 168's in amber, I never did find em so I just used some amber 194's. The only thing I don't like is that the rear half of the jdm corners don't light up as bright as the front, for obvious reasons, im thinking about adding another bulb in there
