Today on the way to school my 5th gen accord screwed up on me. When i started it the check engine light was off but after driving maybe 100 yards down the road my automatic wouldn't shift into third and the rev limiter had to kick in. I pulled off the road and the check engine light was then on. Does this sound like i just need a new transmission?

if its still drivable take it to autozone or whatever and have them pull the cel code

 

question, on your gauge cluster, where the gear your in lights up, does the one for D4 blink?, irregaurdless of what gear you have it in...

 

the d4 didn't blink or anything. its at the honda dealership right now so i should find up whats wrong tommorow
