Tinting bumper lenses
Im buying a new set of clear bumpers... to work black housings.... They are too dark for my tastes... but they looked like they were tinted blue until i put on lots of coats.... and blue = :ugh:
Yeah, it should be really easy to just cut along the part where it comes together with a dremel. You can try with a heat gun, but it will prolly melt first. I have not done bumpers, but i tried doing my corners by cutting around, it works, but looks pretty crappy cuz you can see where it was cut...which you wouldnt on the bumpers.
before i did the black housing i tinted mine with 20% tint and it was like that for a year with no problems
so i would suggest it

i can't find the pic of them off
if you tint it it will take like 5mins compaered to a long time to
take them apart and paint and glue back together
i just recently re-did my bumper lights because the light output was horrible
cause i took out the diffuser piece of plastic and painted the whole housing black
now i painted part of the inside neear the bulb silver and made a piece of plastic to diffuse the light
so i would suggest it
