Take it back to the shop.

 

this happened to my with my other car...well kind of.....I got my rear quater panel fixed and repainted....done at a cheap price at a cheap shop.....it looked good coming out of the shop but 5 months down the line it got dull cause they didn't put enough clear coat [ for reference..the base coat paint is cheap...clear coat is where painting gets expensive]

I took it to a detail shop..they sanded and compunded the panel and it shined as if it hand a new coat of clear paint.....it looked good but got dull after a few months...after doing that for a couple times...i was running out of paint to compund....[getting to primer now] so i just took it to a better shop and repainted

Bottom line...if you payed good money...infact even if you paid cheap....it should at least shine for the moment...but if your saying you took it out of the shop DULL..then thats a problem

i hate to say it but its also ur fault. when i got my other car painted the paint didnt match up the way it was suppose to and it didnt shine like it was suppose to either. i was lucky cuz all i did was tell the guy to drive it out front in the day light and let me see the car since inside it looked prefect. when the sun light hit it everything came out and i was WTF is this and i made a huge scene and i was like no i'm not taking my car like this i paid u to do a good job not some sh!t. they took my car and redid it that same day especially since there were like 2 other people thinking about taking their cars to where i was. u never accept a job w/o looking at it b4 hand cuz once u drive off its a different story
