trunk lid heavy

if you have an oem wing on a 94-95 they should have installed heavy duty struts for the trunk lid.

that lid is so heavy, the remote popper usually doesn't pop. you have to lift and pull the popper or use the key most of the time.

i have them but doesnt matter since my trunk has the factory wing plus the lexxus trunk lights mine pops but doesnt open at least it'll stay up at 3/5ths open

I was talking about current Hondas since he has a 7th gen.

Nightshade, no Honda sedan trunk has gas struts. Everything has gooseneck hinges.
that's exactly what mine does. you have to put it all the way up or it will fall down.

The dealership should put in upgraded springs to prevent that that is why they charge so much for the spoiler installed. My wife works at a Honda dealership and that is what i was told.
