1994 accord lx front brake caliper bolt Q
Hi,
I'm changing the pads on my accord. I noticed one of the bolts was not greased and it was binding. It appears as though one of the caliper
bolts has a small rubber donut or washer in the bracket sleeve that houses the caliper bolt. The other bolt does not. Is this donut just a stop? Not sure what its purpose is.I was thinking of replacing all the rubber sleeves to the caliper bolts and greasing everything up. Any help would be appreciated. 1994 accord lx still going strong. 160k milse.

Hi,
Looks like one of the caliper bolts has a rubber sleeve at the end of one of the caliper bolts. I guess its to keep it balanced inside the bracket housing. The guy who did the last brake job probably just pulled the caliper bolt out and the rubber sleeve probably got left in there. Got a new bolt grease it up and its ready to go.
