Default Minor Differences?

Ok so i'm in need of a damn tune up... and i'm looking at either

A. Getting a bunch of really good plugs/wires/whatever and do it with high quality stuff.

B. Getting cheap Checker Parts and using those.

So far my engine has exactly 0 mods (minus high output alternator) and i've decided to be a all show and no go car. So is it worth it at all to buy the higher end stuff or should i just cheap out and save for something pretty to look at?

I would @ least get some good wires for show because when people see your car they are gonna want to know what you have under the hood and take a look @ it. And good stuff helps you in the long run, better to spend the money one time than 2-3 times again later.
