Default In the process of making my DIY grill for 5th gen

And i finished cutting out the bar and everything, and i bondoed the whole thing up, molding the front piece to the back piece, and power sanded the thing as best i could... since i couldnt sand it by hand.... and so now i need some kind of putty to smooth out the surface and fill in small imperfections, and level out the surface..... is there such thing? Because using bondo on these last stages wouldnt work good IMO.... I need something more putty like, and less goey..

Any ideas?

thanks
Sean

I can post pics if you guys want.. it doesnt look to good yet. hopefully it will turn out ok.

Dont be afraid... it doesnt look that bad. :fawk:

I guess it would be nice to know what it is you are making so a product could be recommended.

Not sure of the exact name right now but it comes in a tube and is very sandable by hand...a little easier than Bondo in fact.

Its a red putty but if you go to an auto store and ask about it they should know what it is.

I used Duramix 4045 semi-rigid plastic repair adhesive. It's specifically made for ABS plastic (the type of plastic the the 5th gen grill is made out of)
