Well when you get your valves redone. The can do a 3, 5 or full job. What this does is make the fuel and air mixture flow better into the combustion chamber. The more angles the better. So thats a simple explanation. If your gonna do that you might as well get your intake and exaust ports ported and match them up as well. its one of those more air and more fuel yields more power.

Check out www.jgenginedynamics.com They have 3 stages of head jobs. Between 800 and 1200 bucks. Good stuff. Id rather go with them than gude.

I just recently got my head/throttle body/cam back from JG, they do great work. I would recommend them only if you have a second car and some time to wait though. They told me turn around time would be 2 weeks. Some one must have told them that there was 20 days in a week b/c it took me like a month and a half to get my shit back. LOL All in all though, the port work is excellent and I was very impressed with the work. BTW I got their top of the line job done, it was like $1100.

P.S. Please don't ask me what else I have done to my motor. If you would like to know visit the 4th gen forum at HS there is a sticky about the entire buildup there. Hope that helps enjoy.
