Default 4bidden short shifter

Anyone installed one of his short shifter on a 5gen? I just picked one up from em and was wondering what i needed for install. Since it was originally made for the lude i'm thinking i'm gonna need to get a bolt to fit through the shifter to hold the cable or

part 26 Can anyone confirm this? Also anyone know of a guide for installation? TIA

yea, you do. I would get the part from the dealer too, because I just used a bolt from the hardware store, and its actually a little smaller, so when i go fowards or backward with the shifter theres like a tiny delay before the cable moves and makes it a little rough. i'll probably pick one up from the dealer soon enough. Also, you will most likely need to shave down the bottom of the console a little. at least I did on my 93.

I dont know if any accords came with it. your best bet would just be to get it for the 92-96 lude. I dont know about any guides, but its fairly straight foward. just remove the console, and you will see what you have to do.

Just installed the shifter.. and all i got the say everyone should get one!!! It makes shifting so much crisper and smoother. And yes you do need to get a extra bolt as the old one is built onto the old shifter. So i just special ordered one from the dealer, using a temp bolt for now. Installation was a breeze, tho i got a bloodly thumb POS bolt! But it was well worth it.
