tranny swap.. need answers ASAP
yo i got a quick problem now here it is all the work is gonna be done for free so its no stress to me the thing is $$$ wise. i have the option of a H-series tranny (98 lude) or a B-series (LS teg) which would u do. the thing is i would do the h22 only cuz its a straight swap no worries but i gotta go thru more Ish to get the tranny where as the LS is already out and about.. just might need to get some new tranny mounts and upgrade the fly wheel to bolt to my f22 engine.. I need answers like Yesterday since i gotta make my calls by this afternoon to get my parts in order to get my ride down..

i never heard of a b series tranny on a h or f motor, don' think it can happen. the h22 tranny will be rather short gearing for the f22. i hope you don't do much highway driving.

i do alot of highway driving but mostly to jump from boro to boro..
theres been B-series swaps into accords but its rare since they dont ahve the torque to really move the heavier accord as they do civics and tegs..

your using a H22 sport shift tranny? goodluck.
the short gearing i was refering to is the 5sp. at 80mph in 5th you'd be at 4,000 rpm. good for the h22, bad for the f22.
