Default Corner Lights

I noticed that i have two bulbs in each corner lamp today....theres really no need right?

the outside bulb is the blinker, the inside is the parking light.

:werd: On the fourth gen one of the outer bulbs blink with the front bumper turn signal.

so do the 5th gens right
my pops had a 94 and a 97 and i swear the outer one blinked with the bumper

'94-'95 blinks with the turn signal while '96-'97 stays on, just like the parking lights.

:werd: your right. That is why the 96-97 has the bigger turn signals so you can see it from the side. DOT requires all cars to have front turn signal light that blink must be visible from the front and the front side.

i always wondered why they made it bigger

i guess i never noticed that the 97 corner didn't blink

Yea most people don't know that. But on the 96-97 even with the bigger front turn signal which should allow you to see it from the side you really can't. I know there is a certain degree that is required. What that angle is I don't know.
