so the question is should i stick with 16" rims? Or how much on average is a decent lowering kit?

Tks for the help guys i don't want it to look like a 4x4 for sure but i thought since the EX comes w/ 16" without being lowered will it be a problem?

like i said if u dont want to lower get some 17's or 18's and deal with the ride height. if u do get a lowering kit get a pro kit or something like that since the drop will be in the 1" range or so most sport setups have drops around 2" not including u ahve to change ur shocks/struts

Umm it will look odd but if its what you want go for it.

BTW 215/50/17 would not be the proper size tire for the car and your speedo is going to be way off if you use that setup...just an FYI

Use this calculator to find the correct size tire for the rim you are looking at.

Input the stock setup then calculate from there.
