Hello. I own an 89' Accord LXI (fuel injection) that is experiencing problems w/ the idle speed. The idle speed goes up and down when the engine is cold or is warm (up and down and up and down .....).
I pulled and cleaned the fast idle valve, the electronic air control valve and bled the cooling system through the bleader bolts but none if this helped.

I did not check - the throttle position valve or the map sensor. Could either of these cause the problem or is it something else.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Hey. It's a pretty common problem, my 93 does it also. The most likely cause is the EGR valve, so you'll want to check that. (something I haven't gotten around to doing yet h: )
