Default 1986 Accord Taillights

I would like to maybe get different tailights, euro lights probalby.
My car is an 1986 Honda Accord, and I havn't had much luck finding anything for the 86, if anyone knows where I can buy 86 Accord stuff I'd love to know!

Please no man, don't do it. The stock taillights look so much better.

maybe just upgrade to 88 or 89 tail lights... they go all the way to the liscence plate... Im not too sure about the fitment, but I think the 88-89 tails look better without the black piece by the plate.

As far as I know, there are no aftermarket tail lights for 3rd generation accords... so thats most likely why your search has turned up nothing.

From what I know, a B16 or B18 can be mounted in that car, with the proper kit... maybe a ZC or LS motor also... all of them have 10times the potential of the motor in your car. What model and body style is it? If its an LX or DX a swap will be much harder, as a swapped motor would need fuel injection, which uses a whole different fuel system/tank than the non-FI motors.

There are plenty of cat-back exhausts, lowering springs, wheels, body kits (please keep them SIMPLE!) and wings available...

Don't exactly know to start going about chaning to 88 type tailiights :\, in any case I can always make something myself, will just take more work, purhaps get some plastic and bend it right and make some blackouts for the tailights, then do some black painting on the headlight covers :-) well not decided but thats my last resort, well no last resort would be keep them how they are.

Are there anyother aftermarket parts for 86? anything at all.

what kind of condition is your 86? if it's clean and stock looking from the exterior, leave it man ... it's classic now.
