1989 Accord problems
I have a 1989 Honda Accord LX 5 speed. The car runs fine until it warms up and then the car looses all power. I just got done replaced the exhaust system from the exhaust manifold to just before the muffler. I also went as far as replacing the oxygen sensor, spark plugs & wires, distributor cap and rotor, and the fuel filters.
Does any one have any ideas what could be wrong.

The LX is NOT fuel Injected its has a carburator instead , you may need to check the choke , if its messed you will need a mechanic to fix it for you or if the linkage is messed up then then you have a incorrect fuel/air ratio
I just got it back from a repair shop. They are thinking it is either a bad distributor or a bad carburator. The choke wasn't working correctly so they worked on it and got it to work. The other thing when the car is idling the engine has a little bit of a miss.
Is there any way to check the distributor to see if it is damaged before I go replacing it. I don't want to spend to much more on the car because it is only a work vehicle.
