I have a '99 LX 4-cyl. coupe. It has the analog climate control and I was wondering how hard it would be to convert it to the digital controls of the V6s.

I've searched for this topic and found some inconclusive information, so I was wondering if there has been any new discoveries since then.

I know that the units from the '00 models and later will definitely not fit (V6 or not) because the wiring harness is different. But if I find a digital unit from a '98-'00 V6, is it just a plug and play job, or is the harness different as well?

 

i dont think its plug and play... the digi control is wired all differently...... at least from what ive heard.

 

u would also need the sensor.
