Hey..I can score a rear-section Tanabe RM exhaust system for 140 shipped. Its used and slightly scratched. This a good deal?

It is your car so if you like it then yes but in my opinion I think the exhaust looks kind of ugly and other people have said that it sounds horrible. They claim it is too loud and doesn't have a good sound. Keep in mind I haven't heard it myself but a friend of mine heard it and I have searched this site and those "other" sites and haven't heard too many good things. But if you like the exhaust and u like the sound then u should do it. I know its not much help but hope it does something for u......

 

Thanks for notice...My Greddy knock off exhaust has a huge ass hole in it which is very tacky and it is starting to rust. So I can score this cheap, But I just want to know if I am in the good price range? The exhaust and pipe is costing me 100 and the Shipping is 40. I have heard bad and good about the exhaust. But I know that Tanabe is quality heard from friends and shops. I am just going to go with it. 140 bucks is worth a shot..THanks again..

 

tanabe doesn't sell just the rear section do they? are u buyin it off someone used? if so just get a 5zigen rear section

140 ain't too bad, my friend has this exhaust on his prelude..its really loud..i don't care for it that much..just my .o2

 

Thanks...Its just mine looks really tacky and ricey right now, And I will be getting rid of it. Its kinda for fun right now...

 

try to check out the apexi n1. I looks pretty classy. have the canister hidden and just the pipe comming out. i saw it on a stock civic, looks sweet. i would get it myself. try not to get the knock off exhaust. I wouldn't invest my money on it. remember if isn't not a axle back, or cat back, you need to weld it on. 40 dollars at your local shop. have fun.
