We'll i just installed my apexi ws. And took it out for the first drive and i started smelling this burning. My friend said its normal with new exhaust systems. So is it suppose to smell like burning or he just ****ing with me? And damn this system is pretty damn quiet... tho it seems to be gettin louder as i start breakin it in.

 

yep, it's the excess fiberglass packing burning off.

 

my cat started smoking too!!! it was just burning off grease when we were putting on the rubber hangers or probably the wd40. scared me too. but now it's all good.
