Default Do I really need Rear Camber for 3" drop?

I just odered a pair Specialty Prod. EZ arm XR with ball Joint and a pair of front Specialty Prod Sliding Ball Joint for my Alignment Kit. Some1 told me that I really DOn't need it for the rear because I can use the "washer" method and stuff. I've been asking this around here before, but can't seem to find the old post. But I don't want any uneven wear on my tires though.

Would any1 please tell me if I really Need it because the rear pair will cost me 160 Total (got 35% off Nopi's Wholesale Price = 1/2 retail)

Even with a 2" drop you will need camber kits. The rear camber will be worse then front camber on the 5th Gen Accord even with the same amount of drop.

People who are willing to put their life on the line for 2-3 washer in their suspension is stupid if you ask me. I rather spend $250 on front and rear camber kits then having $1 washer in the rear.

People is stupid huh??

The washer method is perfectly safe IMO for a 2"drop. I have used this method on my car for the past 12 months with no problems whatsoever. My mechanic, whom I completely trust, (asa certified and ****) said he uses this trick on cars that don't have adjustable rear cambers all the time.

BUT if you are slamming your car (i.e. 3-4 inches) you have to use a lot of washers and this will lead to a lot more stress on the bolt. In that case, I would buy a rear camber kit.

Also, if you end up needing more that 2-3 washers, I would buy a slightly longer grade 8 bolt just to make sure it is well seated into the frame.

on a small drop it works like on my pro-kits and tokicos, hell ingalls sells a kit for $20 that is washers and bolts.

this is what happens when you use replacement arms to correct rear camber instead of using washers. and yes, that is an ingalls adjustable rear kit. i highly doubt that washers will break like that.

so, anyone who would spend the $150 on a rear adjustable camber kit that isn't safe to begin with is stupid to me.

moral of the story here is don't slam your car down so low that the bolt and washer fix won't fix your camber.

He said 3" drop and that is what I was refering to. As for BlackMagic how low was the car dropped?

thanks guys for replying to my post ASAP.

Blackmagic - wow, that's some serious problem. However, i've heard people said that Ingalls kits are not as good. Many people prefer Specialy Prod for their performance, so I don't think with the rear Kit it'll be as bad as the picture - They do have othe brands such as Sprint and Ingalls, but they're wayyyy cheaper than these. So I guess, like you guys said, Performance is directly proportional with Price. Thanks for the warning though, I'll keep away fron Ingalls.

JDMCivic - I think that Picture is with some serious drop and hard driving. Thanks for the response. I think i'm safer with the Kit.

I think that no Methods are stupid. each to his own, but for some situation, some method are considering a better choice.
