Default 99 2.3l non-vtec

Okay, so this may be a stupid question, but my dad's friend has an accord that is a 1999 2.3 non-vtec automatic. I was wondering what the motor code is and if it would be hard to swap the motor with a new one.(same motor) I have swapped single cam civic's but have never touched accord's. thanks for any help.

Default The cams shouldn't matter

You are not dealing with any motor disassemble, so the single cam should be about the same as a DOHC. Probably easiest to go with another non VTEC so that all the electrical connections are the same.

a 99 accord 2.3l is the f23 motor. a vtec engine would be harder to put in since you already have a non vtec.
