Default Stereo mounting kit?

T'sup guys. I tried putting a Civic Si CD player into my new '94 Accord and I'm unhappy with several things about it, mainly that it doesn't screw down onto the mounting bracket that came with the stock tape player. I'm also thinking that because of skipping and sound quality of this Honda player, I'd like to get like a Pioneer player or something, but I know that Crutchfield is just gonna give me this huge ugly black panel that the player will fit into the middle of, with nothing above or below, and I won't get to use that stock storage bin.

There MUST be somebody who makes a kit that'll mount an aftermarket radio into the upper portion of that space and let you retain the storage bin, right? Please respond if you can confirm or deny!!

Yeah, you can pick one up at your local Best Buy, Circuit City, or any other place that sells car accessories; they should have em. I got mine at Best Buy in the car audio section; it's sort of universal for all Accords, obtaining certain parts for the different gens. Includes easy to read directions. I'd give the name of the brand/company, but I'm not at home at this time with the name. Hope this helps.

nope, I have the one the guys are refering to also from best buy. It almost looks like the stock compartment, just less room.
