radioshack LEDs are madd expensive. there are many cheaper places to get them. Ebay has 'em in bulk at times. Important thing to watch for is the mcd rating (the brightness) I wouldn't go with anything less than 5000mcd
mmhmm... so far i've only done the signals though, 24 of those on each side. i have 95 made for one side for the brake light but i'm planning another design once i get this one working. cryo in the chit
! i wired them up kinda like that accord guy but i only used one resistor (forgot what rating) at the beginning of the whole thing and wired them by 4's in parallel. i could've and had done 5 per but when i test them with a 9v battery, they didn't light up as much. i have mine on a plastic sheet that was pre-drilled and all i had to do was cut the sheet to the top section of the tails and wire them in. here are the pics (i got a million of them) of the progress of all my tails heheh. click here
